TaylorMade’s Compact Grain Forging™ process uses 2,000 tons of pressure, more than double the industry standard. The additional force gives us precision control of the forging’s microstructure and produces a tighter grain structure, creating the best possible feel.
The tour-inspired P·7MC™ fits the eye of discerning players. With minimal offset and perimeter weighting, this classically shaped iron delivers the ultimate in control and precision with a hint of forgiveness.
Compact Grain Forging delivers a refined composition inside and out. The sophisticated craftsmanship comes to life with a satin finish and forged “Metal-T” within the cavity back, creating the unmistakable aesthetic of a premium TaylorMade iron.
Precision is paramount. Machine milling the face ensures superb quality and our most aggressive score lines for precision shot making. Meticulously crafted grooves deliver the spin and control needed to create your desired shape and trajectory.
Born from more than 30-years of composite shaft mastery, the new MMT Taper Iron utilizes a patent pending Metal Mesh Technology (MMT) to redefine the possibilities for feel and performance in a composite iron shaft. A unique metal mesh – made from individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel – is integrated into the shaft’s prepreg layers towards the tip. This improves density and stability, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that still provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play.
